From Schipol Airport

Under Schipol airport (Amsterdam) is railway station. As you exit the airport to the train buy a train ticket for Utrecht. You can also buy a bus ticket (Strippenkaart) in case you want to use the local transport system once you arrive.

By Train

Many trains go to Utrecht CS directly, often through the night. From Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Hilversum, Arnhem : direct. From Brussels: change at Rotterdam. From Groningen: direct or change at Amersfoort. To plan your trip you can use the NS-Reisplanner.

Local Public Transport

Line 11 and 12 from Utrecht Central Station. Line 11 stops at the Padualaan, at the Heidelberglaan and at the AZU (hospital). Line 12 stops at the Weg tot de Wetenschap and also at the Padualaan, at the Heidelberglaan and at the AZU.

Line 30 from Station Overvecht-Noord, and Line 31 from Station Lunetten stop at the Padualaan, at the Heidelberglaan and at the AZU.

Line 276 and 296 from Amersfoort stop at the Universiteitsweg and at the AZU.

Line 51 and 282 (service to Nieuwegein) from Zeist stops at the Universiteitsweg and at the AZU.

Line 254 and 281 from Ziest stop at the Universiteitsweg and at the AZU.

By Car
